Desert Luxe at El Chorro: Designing an Elevated November Milestone

Olivia and Patrick’s November celebration at El Chorro was a masterclass in organic, high-design textures. Set against the iconic silhouette of the Camelback Mountains, the day moved seamlessly from a light-filled ceremony to a glowing reception, all centered around a sophisticated palette of creams, greens, and natural wood.

The Architecture of the Aisle

The ceremony took place on the lawn beneath a grand, clear-top tent, where rows of chandeliers hung like floating sculptures over the aisle. To elevate the guest experience, we added our Ivory Linen Cushions to the venue’s standard Wood X-Back chairs. This intentional layer provided a luxury upgrade—increasing guest comfort while perfectly pulling through the soft cream tones of the lush floral design.

Sourced: The Social Anchors

As the celebration shifted to the patio for cocktail hour, the design leaned into custom, branded elements. We paired our White Luna Bar with the Ozzy Back Bar, featuring a custom "O & P" monogram that turned the high-traffic area into a personal design statement. Nearby, our Hartwood Console Table acted as the structural base for an oversized gold frame, creating a sophisticated focal point for the seating chart.

The Seamless Transition

The beauty of this design was in its versatility. For the reception, the Wood X-Back chairs - complete with our Ivory Linen Cushions - were repurposed to line the long, candlelit tablescapes beneath the clear-top tent. The grand floral arch from the ceremony was also transitioned, serving as the perfect architectural backdrop for the head table and framing the cake. This move ensured the most impactful design elements remained the focal point of the evening.

Layered Lounge Moments

To encourage a residential feel, we curated a plush lounge on the patio using our Harper Love Seats, Hudson Coffee Table, and Kinsley Side Table, all grounded by a Beige Elegance Rug. These same groupings were later moved inside for dancing, ensuring the editorial vibe remained consistent as the energy shifted from elegant al fresco dinner to all out dance party.
