The New Sanctuary Camelback: Redefining Luxury Events in Paradise Valley

In January 2026, the iconic Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, A Gurney’s Resort & Spa, unveiled a stunning $7 million renovation, and it was our privilege to help bring the vision of these transformed spaces to life. Designed to merge a 105-room luxury aesthetic with the dramatic desert backdrop, the new Sanctuary is officially the premier destination for high-end Arizona milestones.

Ceremony on the Wedding Lawn

The morning began on the Lower Lawn, where the mountain views are now more unobstructed than ever. To complement the vibrant, lush florals by LUX Florist, we lined the aisle with our Cora Bentwood Dining Chairs. The natural wood tones provided a grounded, organic frame for the ceremony space, allowing the lush greenery and the peaks of Camelback to remain the focal point.

Cocktail Hour: The Paradise Views Patio

As guests transitioned to the Paradise Views Patio, the design shifted toward a "modern desert luxe" social hour. We anchored the space with our Sarrah Panel Bar in Natural Wood, a piece that perfectly mirrored the resort’s new "brise soleil" sun shade architecture.

To encourage conversation, we curated a series of vignettes featuring:

The Archie Sofa + Maya Bench: Creating a low-profile, sophisticated lounge footprint.
Easton Chairs + Juniper Side Tables: Adding textural contrast with curated rugs and pillows.
Bistro Styling: Our Mila Dining Chairs were paired with Olivino Round Lamour linens, offering a fresh, crisp look for cocktail seating.

The Grand Reveal: Views Ballroom

The true showstopper of the renovation is the 3,851-square-foot Views Ballroom. With the North fireplace removed and floor-to-ceiling windows added, the space feels endlessly expansive. To celebrate this "blank canvas" of light, we set the room with our Regency Chairs in Winter White.

The cool, architectural lines of the Winter White chairs against crisp white linens created a high-contrast foundation for the deep, vibrant burgundy florals by LUX. Bathed in candlelight, the room demonstrated exactly how the right rental choices can elevate a ballroom from a meeting space to a high-fashion reception.
