From Cocktail Bars to Curated Lounges: Designing a Multi-Space Celebration at El Chorro
There is a reason El Chorro remains one of the most iconic venues in the Southwest. With its panoramic views of Camelback Mountain and a variety of distinct spaces, it offers the perfect canvas for a wedding that feels both grand and deeply personal. For Lindsey and Brendan’s spring celebration, the goal was to create an atmosphere that was light, bright, and relaxed, yet undeniably elevated.
Working alongside the talented team at Revel Wedding Co, we curated a series of design moments that guided guests through the property, using our inventory to anchor each transition with style and intentionality.
The Courtyard Welcome
Before guests even reached the ceremony, we set the tone with a "wow" moment in the courtyard. Our Kingswood Wood Dining Table acted as the ultimate welcome station, topped with a lush, organic floral display by Mint Green Design. Using a substantial piece like the Kingswood for a guest greeting immediately establishes a sense of home and heritage, which was perfect for this church-to-garden transition.
Cocktail Hour on the Lawn
Following the ceremony, the party moved to the lawn for a high-fashion cocktail hour. We anchored the space with our Round Luna Bar, a piece that naturally draws guests in with its soft curves and modern silhouette.
To encourage lounging, we designed a garden-chic space featuring:
The Archie Sofa & Michelle Chairs: A pairing that feels both architectural and inviting.
The Meyer Console Table: Styled with our Sculpted White Table Lamps to provide a warm, residential glow as the sun began to set.
Alfresco Dining & The Sarrah Bar Statement
Dinner was a true alfresco dream. For the reception, we doubled down on the bar design by pairing two of our three-panelled Sarrah Bars together. Topped with Modern Dome Gold Table Lamps and backed by our Ozzy Bar Back Shelves, this setup felt more like a permanent high-end lounge than a temporary event build-out.
The Indoor After-Party
As the night progressed, the celebration moved inside Casa Paloma for dancing. We transitioned the aesthetic to feel a bit more intimate and "moody" with additional lounge clusters. Featuring the popular Harper Loveseats, Hudson Coffee Tables, and Ava Side Tables in Gold, these setups provided a sophisticated place for guests to rest between sets from Emerald City Band.
