There are events that look beautiful in photos. And then there are events that feel like something — where the design, the cause, the music, and the people all converge into a night that guests will talk about for years. Smoke & Strings 2026 was firmly and completely the latter.

Held at a private Scottsdale estate on April 16, 2026, the evening benefited Treasure House AZ — a remarkable organization building community for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Hosted by Brenda and Kurt Warner and headlined by an intimate acoustic performance from country star Kane Brown, it was one of the most meaningful, most beautifully produced events Prim has ever had the privilege of being part of.

The Scale of the Night

To understand what went into Smoke & Strings 2026, it helps to understand the scope. This wasn't a single-room dinner or a tented reception. It was a fully produced, multi-environment event experience across an entire athletic field — a cocktail hour, a large-scale clear-top reception tent with elevated dining, a live music performance field with lounge seating for hundreds, an outdoor swag station, and a custom bar setup, all running simultaneously and all designed to feel cohesive, intentional, and entirely of a piece.

Your Jubilee Weddings handled planning and design with the kind of vision and precision that a production of this scale demands. Florals by Kendra brought wild, textural arrangements that felt rooted in the Arizona landscape — organic and abundant, never fussy. Our partners at Divinity Event Productions managed production and draping throughout, including the dramatic deep burgundy draping that transformed the clear-top tent into something theatrical and transportive.

The Reception Tent: Atticus Dining Tables

Inside the clear-top tent, long runs of Prim's Atticus Dining Tables anchored the elevated dinner experience. Their concrete-finish surface and architectural silhouette held their own against the richness of the deep burgundy draping overhead and the wildflower-forward centerpieces by Florals by Kendra — moody ranunculus, dahlias, and trailing greenery in amber, rust, and burgundy. Black cane-back chairs lined both sides of the tables, the white cushions providing just enough softness against the drama of the palette. The overall effect was something between a high-design supper club and a night at the most beautiful outdoor venue you've ever been to.

The Swag Station: Custom Painted Arched Shelving

One of the most photographed moments of the cocktail hour was the Outlaw Trading Post — a branded swag station where guests could select keepsakes to take home. Prim's custom painted arched shelving unit in deep burgundy served as the display structure, its arched opening and open shelving creating an instantly iconic visual moment. Stocked with branded hats, totes, and keepsakes, the shelving unit transformed what could have been a standard swag table into a full design feature. Paired with a vintage saddle and western signage, the trading post captured the spirit of the evening perfectly — elevated, playful, and completely on-theme.

The Bar: Cowhide Marlowe Bar

The Marlowe Bar made its most western appearance yet at Smoke & Strings — wrapped in Prim's cowhide finish and topped with sculptural wildflower arrangements in burnt orange and deep burgundy. Signature cocktails including the Velvet Ember, Citrus Crescendo, and the alcohol-free Golden Hour were served from this bar throughout the evening, with the cowhide surface providing the perfect nod to the night's outlaw aesthetic without crossing into costume territory. It was exactly the kind of customization that makes a rental piece feel like it was designed specifically for the event.

The Performance Field: Lounge Seating at Scale

The most visually striking element of the entire evening — and the one that required the most inventory — was the performance field. Hundreds of guests were seated across the open field in an amphitheater-style configuration, but instead of folding chairs or bleachers, the seating was built entirely from Prim's lounge collection.

Sofas, sectionals, leather chesterfields, accent chairs, barrel chairs, stools, and ottomans were arranged in curved rows facing the stage — a configuration that felt like the world's most beautifully curated living room, scaled to a concert. From the aerial view, the effect was extraordinary: a field full of people sinking into sofas under string lights, watching Kane Brown perform in one of the most intimate settings imaginable.

The diversity of the seating — different silhouettes, textures, and tones all working together — gave the field a layered, collected quality rather than the uniformity of a traditional event setup. It was a reminder that when lounge seating is used at true scale, it doesn't just change the look of an event. It changes how guests experience it entirely.

The Cause Behind It All

Smoke & Strings exists because of Treasure House AZ — and every design decision of the evening was made in service of creating a night worthy of the organization's mission. Treasure House AZ builds community, belonging, and opportunity for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the generosity of the evening's guests directly supports that work. It was an honor to contribute to an event that carries that kind of purpose behind every detail.
